The IFS series is now updated each month using the CPI-COICOP dataset, which is the primary CPI reporting format to the IMF Statistics Department since 2015. The OECD reports to the IMF Statistics Department CPI-COICOP data for their member countries and Eurostat does likewise for its member countries that are not members of the OECD. The inclusion of OECD and Eurostat reported series has led to some minor changes to indexes disseminated in the IFS. As part of the update to the IFS compilation procedures, a full review of the historic series is currently underway.
